Snack Bar Information & Service Requirements
Nobody Under the age of 18
Allowed at any time

Always Use Food Service Gloves

  1. Each team will be given one Sunday durring Fall Ball to run the snackbar from open to close.
  2. Each shift should be a minimum of 2 hours,  allowing a few minutes inbetween to re-train the incoming shift.
  3. Snack bar assignments for each team will be posted on the league web site at www.avgssoftball.com along with Opening and Closing procedures.  Click on the Snackbar Link.
  4. The Team Parent should coordinate with the families of the team to determine who will cover the required shifts for your assigned snack bar duty.
  5. Team parents need to  forward a list of scheduled shifts, names, and phone numbers to the Snack Bar Coordinator.
  6. In case of rain, check the league web site for field closures to determine if snack bar duty assignments are cancelled. If games are cancelled, your team will be contacted to reschedule make up shifts for any make up games scheduled later in the season.
  7. Each volunteer should locate the sign in book in the snack bar when they report for their shift. There will be a page in the book with a roster for you to sign in on.
  8. Families working in the snack bar MUST pay for items they consume from the snack bar.  This excludes the Umpires,  we offer them a hot food item and a drink,  please make sure to log them into the book when you do.
  9. The snack bar offers tickets to parents for whatever dollar amount they wish to purchase them to hand out to players after games. (This is a great option for parents who do not wish to bring snacks or drinks to their games for snack assignments.)
